Flagship Specialty Partners is pleased to announce the addition of Angie Murphy, PHR to our leadership team as the new Director of Clinical Quality. Angie will oversee the development of clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and training that will continue to support our best-in-class clinical quality and patient safety for our network of practices. To achieve this, she will work closely with clinical and operational leadership to identify opportunities that positively impact quality and patient outcomes, and continuously improve and refine areas like clinical team member onboarding and continuing education.

A homecoming for sure, Angie started working for CCOFS in1996, when it was called University Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She spent the next 21 years with the practice assuming roles in HR, as surgical assistant, and Clinical Manager. Among her many contributions during her tenure, Angie spearheaded many of the best practices still in use today across our practices, she chaired the healthcare accreditation committee that achieved our AAAHC accreditation in 2001, and successfully directed the efforts to maintain our accreditation thereafter. A most valuable skill that Angie possesses is her ability to create structure around patient care and safety while maintaining her empathy, approachability, and warmth with our team members and patients. Angie encourages others to be and do their best as advocates for the patient experience and clinical quality, and for this we are thrilled to welcome her back. Working closely with our Clinical Governance Board, leadership team, and trainers we expect her to have a phenomenal impact on our day-to-day operations as well as the integration of new practices.

Angie will spend her first 30 days onboarding at our FSP Headquarters, then make her way across the organization to shadow our clinical teams and listen from our doctors, surgical assistants, technicians, and nurses as she builds her strategic plan. To support our strong team of clinical supervisors, she will create a cadence of communication to create needed policies and best practices, provide guidance, and create training alongside our trainers. Finally, Angie will work closely with her team to understand and exceed regulatory standards as we continue to satisfy requirements from AAAHC and OSHA.
