We are thrilled to announce that Chris Malmfelt has joined Flagship Specialty Partners as the new Vice President of Revenue Cycle. Chris will be overseeing all front-end insurance intake, prior authorizations, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Payment posting functions in support of our growing family of practices.
In his role, Chris will maintain a full understanding of Accounts Receivable by working with Office Managers and AR Manager to ensure that accounts are worked in a timely manner. He will also develop strong processes to minimize denials and appeals of claims. Furthermore, Chris will assist with maintaining and optimizing the practice management system to enhance automation functionality aimed at reducing edits, scaling staff, and eliminating manual efforts.
Chris comes to us from Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry as their Director of RCM. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and financial services, serving in roles at distinguished healthcare systems such as Novant Health as Patient Financial Services Director, Lifepoint Health as Director of Revenue Cycle, and Carolinas Healthcare Systems as Assistant VP Patient Financial Services.
