Flagship Specialty Partners is pleased to announce that Mark Romney has accepted the position of Director of Purchasing at Flagship Specialty Partners. Mark will oversee the procurement of supplies and equipment across all Flagship partners. He will set and implement best practices to achieve service and inventory goals to help Flagship maximize clinical care and patient experience while minimizing costs and inefficiencies.

Mark has had an outstanding 26-year career in supply chain roles. In his most recent position, he served as Supply Chain Director for a physician-owned, multi-specialty healthcare group with over 100 clinics and 350 providers. He drove process improvement initiatives in the standardization of products and vendors, GPO contract utilization improvements, and inventory control accounting. He has written and implemented SOPs on purchasing processes, capital budgeting and proposal submissions, and vendor onboarding. His experience also includes the purchase of capital equipment and leasehold improvements, price negotiations and RFQ management, data mining/analysis, and report writing.
