ANNUAL FLAGSHIP SYMPOSIUM
Our annual symposium brings our surgeons, residents, fellows, and prospective partners together for a program that gives equal time to clinical learning and shared experiences. External faculty and Flagship experts lead sessions on advances across oral and maxillofacial surgery, while golf, pickleball, and time on the beach give attendees a chance to unwind and enjoy one another’s company. It’s Lifetime Residency in action, pairing practical education with lasting camaraderie.
ELEVATE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
Flagship’s annual ELEVATE Leadership Summit for our surgeons, practice managers, and Flagship leaders is about sharing best practices, strengthening relationships, and having a great time together. It’s a chance to step away from the day-to-day, develop fresh ideas, and return with renewed energy and a shared commitment to One Team. One Vision. One Future.
FLAGSHIP DEVELOPMENTAL SERIES
Our monthly, in-person Developmental Series offers practice leaders training in leadership, operations, revenue cycle management, finance, marketing, and human resources. Through practical learning, peer exchange, and shared activities, leaders connect across practices and take away approaches they can apply right away to support their teams, improve patient experiences, and elevate performance.
RISING TECHNOLOGIES BOARD REVIEW COURSE
This immersive weekend pairs oral board preparation with hands-on exposure to advanced technologies in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Designed for senior residents and first-year graduates, the course features interactive small-group sessions, mock cases, hands-on learning, and individualized feedback. Participants work alongside Flagship surgeons, clinical specialists, and engineers to explore virtual surgical planning and advanced techniques, building confidence in evaluating, planning, and managing complex cases.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship
The 12-month fellowship at Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery advances surgical expertise through training alongside nationally recognized surgeons and multidisciplinary specialists. Fellows gain hands-on experience across full-scope surgery, collaborative mentorship, and exposure to private practice and hospital settings, building the skills, confidence, and relationships to grow as clinicians and leaders.
