Lead Prosthodontist Assistant - Envision Asheville

The Lead Prosthodontist Assistant’s primary responsibility is to work under the Prosthodontist's supervision to prepare the planning, supplies, and equipment used in dentistry procedures, to ready patients for these procedures, and help the dentist during these procedures by passing instruments, holding the suction catheter in place, and generally anticipating the dentist's needs, while supporting the patient. Other responsibilities may include clinical functions like suture removal, processing x-rays, taking impressions or intra oral scans to be used for diagnostic or prosthetic procedures. Perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, including but not limited to providing chair-side assistance while providers examine and treat patients.
