Biography
Cale Hansen is a finance and strategy executive with experience spanning healthcare services, private equity, investment banking, and military leadership. As Vice President of Finance & Transformation at Flagship Specialty Partners, he leads financial planning and analysis and supports strategic initiatives focused on business performance, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Flagship, Cale served as Senior Director of Finance at Smile Brands, a leading private-equity-backed DSO, where he led financial planning, forecasting, process optimization, and performance analysis in partnership with operational leadership. Earlier in his career, Cale spent three years as an investment banker focused on advising healthcare provider services clients across M&A, continuation vehicles, and other strategic capital initiatives.
Cale earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he was named to the Dean’s List, and graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served eight years in the U.S. Army as an AH-64 Apache helicopter pilot, leading teams and organizations in complex operational environments both in the US and overseas. He brings a combination of analytical rigor, strategic perspective, and operational leadership to Flagship’s mission of helping oral surgery practices thrive.
